DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 6 Episode 1: What Will Happen?
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 6 Episode 1 is titled- “Ground Control to Sara Lance,” and the episode will be directed by none other than Kevin Mock. While we do not have an episode synopsis as of yet, we do have some information about what might be coming up in the first episode of the season.
The story will pick up exactly where the fifth season left. By the end of the fifth season, the death-defying leader, Sara Lance, was abducted by the aliens. So, now the Waverider crew will go in search of Sara. Ava will send Rery and Behrad to find any lead they can in order to find Sara, while Constantine will try to work his magic. On the other hand, Sara will try to escape but will she able to?
More spoilers for the upcoming storylines suggest that viewers will get to see a new recruit named- Esperanza “Spooner” Cruz, who will play the character of alien expect/conspiracy theorist who believes that Sara has the ability to speak to the extraterrestrials. In the meantime, in order to escape, Sara releases few aliens into the timeline and comes to know who had captured and why all of that happened.
A Disney Style Animation Episode Is Coming Up In Season 6
Every season of Legends of Tomorrow features at least one big swing episode. Thankfully, viewers will get to see yet another big episode in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 6 too. A Disney-style animation and music episode is coming up in the sixth season, and the episode will be directed by Caity Lotz herself.
Speaking about this upcoming animated episode, the Legends of Tomorrow co-showrunner- Phil Klemmer says that there are some very beautiful songs and Astra that will be played by Olivia Swann, who will be their version of Disney Princess. Klemmer explains that the reason for them bringing this animated episode was because there was a point in the story when it became so outlandish for even them to see the whole thing as a live-action in their head. For them, it started feeling like a 90s Disney movie. So, they decided to make a special animated episode instead.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 6 Episode 1 is all set to premiere this Sunday, May 2, 2021, only on The CW at 8 P.M. ET. To watch the episode, viewers just have to tune into their TV.
