When Will The Productions Begins?
It has only been a couple of months since the premiere of Season 1 finale. HBO may have renewed the show way too early, but it does not plan to begin the productions anytime soon. Actors of the series reveal that they do not intend to shoot Euphoria Season 2 anytime before 2020. The second season may follow the filming schedule of the first installment. Fans may have to wait for a few months to get any firm details about the same.
Is This The Last Season?
One of the lead actresses of the show has revealed important details about the fate of the popular teen drama. Hunter Schafer, who plays the role of Jules on the show, talks about its future with Digital Spy. She explains that the series may not continue any further than the second installment. Schafer elaborates that show creator Sam Levinson didn’t see the series going on for too long logistically.
The first season featured the characters in a semester of school. Most of the cast, including protagonists Rue and Jules, were juniors in Season 1. Hence, Schafer suggests that Euphoria Season 2 may give us either one or two more school years. On the other hand, the early adult years of the characters will totally be a different story. Moreover, that part of the story may be another show but not Euphoria.
When Will Euphoria Season 2 Release?
After the crazy first season, it’s hard to wait for Euphoria Season 2 any longer. HBO renewed the installment way too early, and fans have begun to demand a release date now. Well, it’s apparently too early to ask for a premiere now. The series may not get into production until 2020. Hence, we may not get the new epsiodes anytime soon. However, chances suggest that the upcoming installment may follow the release pattern of the first season. Thus, we may expect to return around mid-2020.
