The fictional family of vampires has a lot more to learn in Salvatore School. CW network called for Legacies Season 2 in January, before the ending of the first season. The Originals spin-off did a great job by sticking to the subject matter and depicting the struggles of supernatural beings. The critics appreciated the show on its fast pace and entertaining storyline. It was a suitable addition to The CW’s shelter of supernatural high school series. The show’s emergence from its sister shows was a surprising delight.
In Atlanta for the start of #legacies season 2. It’s possible I may never stop sweating.

Legacies focus on Hope Mikaelson, a 17-year-old orphan, who has developed from some of the most powerful vampire, werewolf, and witch bloodlines. She is the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall. After two years of The Originals, Hope goes to the Salvatore School meant for the Young and Gifted. The school provides a haven where supernatural creatures can learn to control their abilities and desires. Season 1 ending showed Hope sacrificing herself in the Malivore pit. Now she has been erased from memory, and it would be interesting to see if she could return in Season 2.
Legacies Season 2: Production Is Underway & It Looks Great
Julie Plec, the showrunner, recently in an interview said Legacies Season 2 storyline is developing to be a natural fit for the return of some of The Original’s characters. She revealed that there is a chance to see some of them make an appearance. But she did not explain the reason for it and made it clear that the story would deliver how that happens.
No names of the characters came up in that interview but fans have speculated that Hope would somehow connect with her late mother Hayley or her late father, Klaus. Maybe it could include her living loved ones, like Freya, Rebekah, Marcel, and Vincent as well. Actor Joseph Morgan who plays Klaus, just got a series regular role on a different show. So he may be occupied for a cameo, but still, fans would hope for a small comeback.
Legacies Season 2: A New Vampire Will Be Around
Since its debut, the show has brought upon new supernatural characters and several monsters. It looks as if it will be continuing in Legacies Season 2, as a brand new vampire will come in the picture. This time around, the fans would experience a very different type of vampire than the usual in this universe. Till now, multiple vampires have lived for quite some time on the show. However, creator Julie Plec says the new character would not be familiar with the ways of the modern world.
The peculiar aspect about this vampire is that he would have been asleep since being made a vampire, hundreds of years ago. When he wakes up now, he would have to deal with all the current ways. Hopefully, the Salvatore School will prove to be a suitable place for the vampire. But they should first of all make him aware of the “no eating other students” rule. So far, no other information has surfaced regarding the vampire other than the message that it is another male vampire.
