Natalie and Mike had a lot of differences when they became a couple on 90 Day Fiance. As mentioned above, things didn’t work out for the two, and they split. The Ukrainian woman has been giving love a try again by dating in The Single Life spin-off. Meanwhile, Mike is focused on his work. Apparently, Natalie was still filming for the show when Russia declared war on Ukraine. As per a new promo by People, she shared major news with her fans. Her mother had to flee the country during the war as they lost their home. It turns out that Natalie’s ex-husband, Mike Youngquist came through for her family. He arranged for a plane ticket for Natalie’s mother so she could move to Bulgaria.
As Mike’s kind gesture struck an emotional chord with Natalie, she expressed her plan to meet him. It turns out that she had moved to Florida abruptly after their big fight. Hence, she was feeling sorry for her behavior and wanted to fly to Seattle to meet Mike and apologize. With this, Natalie also mentioned that her birth certificate, passport, and other important things have been in Mike’s house since her departure. Hence, the 90 Day Fiance star also planned on collecting these documents. Fans remain excited to see how these two ex-lover meetings will go.
90 Day Fiance: Mike Defends Natalie In Front Of His Mother, Trish!
While Natalie spoke highly of her ex, Mike also returned the favor. He became part of the 90 Day Fiance franchise once again. That’s because he and his mother, Trish, appeared in an episode of the Diaries spin-off. Apparently, the star’s mother had moved in with him, and Mike joked about having a roommate. Well, things got a bit heated when they were having a meal together. That’s because Mike’s mother began calling his ex, Natalie, a scammer, and other inappropriate words as she left her son.
At last, Mike couldn’t take it and told her not to talk ill about his ex-wife. However, his mother, Trish, didn’t stop and continued to say negative things about her former daughter-in-law. He went on to say that these were just his mother’s “opinions”. Youngquist wanted to keep the “good memories” of his ex with him. Mike expressed sadness that his mom would always have mean phrases to use for his former partner. Well, all of that is in the past now, as the promo revealed that they are getting along well.
