TLC stars Thais and Patrick met on a dating app. They appeared on 90 Day Fiance and married at the season’s end. Patrick learned Thais was pregnant with their baby when she announced it on the Tell-All. And now that their baby girl is 13 months old, the couple has shared an exclusive clip of Thais’s labor.
Baby Aleesi’s delivery was a tough process for Thais. In the clip that the couple shared, Thais had to undergo a tough induction for labor. The behind-the-scenes clip was from November 15, 2022, and the couple was waiting to meet their little angel. Patrick called Thais “beautiful” even as the Portuguese star was going into labor.
Thais was emotional hearing Patrick and asked him if he really thought she was “beautiful now.” And Patrick lovingly answered, “You’re always beautiful.” The couple was eager to meet their daughter, and Patrick even urged the baby to “make her debut” quickly.
It was a tough eight-hour-long induction and labor for Thais. But at the end of it, their daughter finally arrived. Thais announced the baby girl’s name, “Aleesi.” Patrick happily announced his daughter’s weight, “6lbs.’ and 4 oz.” He got emotional, saying, “We made it. Everything actually went really well”, adding that Thais was “feeling great.” The Portuguese native jokingly questioned the “feeling great” part, but she did add that the “pain was terrible.”
Thais said that the pain was “because” she “was induced.” But the 90 Day Fiance pair was very much in love with their baby. Patrick had asked Thais if the pain was “worth it,” and she replied that it definitely was. However, the TLC star did complain that she “carried” Aleesi “for nine months, and she looks like” Patrick! So Patrick asked if Thais felt “jealous,” to which she laughed and replied, “No!.”

TLC star Patrick Mendes is now a full-fledged family man. Patrick had been married before his current marriage with Thais, but the relationship ended in a divorce. His previous wife alleged that Patrick was more involved in his work than his marriage. But that has all changed now. Though Patrick still works in a smart home security company, albeit as a sales manager and a recruiter, he also gives time to his family.
Patrick keeps sharing photos and videos of his wife, Thais, and their daughter, Alessi. The star loves to spend time with his family. He even posted a picture of the family on Halloween on his Instagram. They had dressed up as the cartoon character family of The Flintstones.
