Everyone often keeps their notorious and evil side well hidden. But the Teen Mom stars have undergone some crazy incidents and risky encounters that led them to spend time behind bars. Through the years, the MTV franchise has documented several stories of these celebrities. Well, they have had a shocking criminal history and dreadful mugshots. Ryan Edwards
Police detained the former Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards for aggravated stalking of his estranged wife, Mackenzie. Also, for violating a protection order. The Hamilton County sheriff confirmed that Mackenzie filed an incident report against her husband. She took this step with the authorities on February 23 this year.
Ryan was under custody on February 10, 2023. The cases under which he was charged were harassment, drug paraphernalia possession, and possession of a controlled substance. He was also under arrest for violation of an order of protection. The Teen Mom celebrity dad has a history of going to jail and staying in rehab centers.
Jenelle Evans
Alarmingly, Jenelle Evans has been under arrest 15 times. The first time police detained her was in 2010, That was with her boyfriend, Kieffer Delp. That was only the beginning. However, the castmate has a multi-year criminal history and been part of violent rampages. This includes trespassing and drug possession in 2010, cyberstalking in 2012, heroin possession, paraphernalia possession, and so on. Also, Jenelle assaulted her then-husband, Courtland Rogers, in 2013. An irresponsible driving without a license case in 2015 is also on her record.
Nathan Griffith
Nathan was Jenelle Evans’ ex-partner and also her baby daddy. Police arrested him and charged him with domestic battery. Also, for strangulation this year in February. Nathan was under arrest in Delray Beach, Florida. Nathan appeared unsettled and unafraid in his mugshot. However, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s inmate website was the one to post the mugshots of the Teen Mom star.
Moreover, Nathan’s brother-in-law William called the cops on him. He claimed that Nathan was completely out of hand and had “lost it.” The Teen Mom star strangled his girlfriend by the neck and also dragged her up all the way from the stairs. When officers arrived, Nathan allegedly lied about the whole situation. However, the victim, according to the claims, was her girlfriend reportedly mentioned Nathan was physically abusive to her.
David Eason
David Eason is Janelle’s current husband. And he has faced trouble with the cops multiple times. Police arrested David in 2020. The reason behind his arrest was that he assaulted his wife with a deadly weapon. Also, the celebrity made verbal threats. Further, Jenelle claimed she had left David for good at that time. However, they reunited.
Jenelle enlisted and mentioned a friend that helped her during her fight with her husband. James Spivey helped her pick up her belongings from their shared home. During the visit, David assaulted James with a Springfield handgun. He knocked his wife’s friend in the back of the neck. Thus he was under arrest.
Kieffer Delp
Police held Kieffer behind bars for burglary and drug possession. Janelle Evans’ ex agreed to spend 18 to 36 months in a state correctional facility and three years on probation. In 2018 he was under arrest for running a methamphetamine lab. Also, possessing with intent to deliver it. However, only six days after finishing his sentence, the Teen Mom star was behind the bars again in February 2020. It was due to an outstanding warrant in New Jersey for jumping bail.
Amber Portwood
Amber Portwood has sadly been one of the celebrities with a very negative reputation. This is because she is the one who has had numerous run-ins with the law. Also, the police arrested her several times for different reasons. Her criminal history began in December 2010, and she was charged with two felonies of domestic battery. The first one was a felony of neglect of a dependent, and the second one was a misdemeanor of domestic battery.
MTV captured a violent altercation between her and Gary Shirley on the show Teen Mom. Gary and Amber share a daughter, Leah. However, now Amber is trying to be a better person.
Kiaya Elliot
Kiaya Elliott became famous by starring in Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant. Shockingly, she has charges of arrest, three assaults,s, and gun possession. It was filed in 2021. Well, the Teen Mom star was under arrest on March 21. The incident took place after a fight allegedly broke out at a party in Virginia. The brawl got intense, and Kiaya was a part of it. It happened when she was with her girlfriend, Teazha.
X’Zayveon Gambrell
Kiaya’s baby’s father, X’zayveon Gambrell, was also behind bars. However, the authorities released him in June after he served four years. Moreover, the Teen Mom star gave birth to their son Amour. However, X’zayveon was not present at the time of their son’s birth, as he was in custody. The charges that he had on his head were of receiving a stolen firearm and felony possession of a weapon. Also, he had marijuana possession, which he intended to distribute.
Bar Smith
Bar Smith is Ashley Jones’ husband. However, he also got himself a criminal record for being a fugitive from justice. His mugshot was taken in August 2022. However, that was his second arrest of the year. As per the reports, Police took Bar into custody
Devoin Austin
Devoin is Briana DeJesus’ former partner. Moreover, he had a history of arrests in the past. In 2013 and 2014, Police captured him for marijuana possession. The officers pulled him over for a legal tag. But the police officer could smell the odor of burnt cannabis from the driver-side window. Later in 2017, he was again arrested, which was an outstanding warrant because he failed to appear in court. As in the court, there was a previous case for marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession in 2016.
Deborah Danielsen
Shockingly, it is not always the Teen Mom kids who end up in handcuffs. During the show, Farrah Abraham’s mother, Deborah Danielsen, was arrested for domestic abuse. Deborah fought with her daughter in January 2010. According to the police report, the brawl was very brutal as the celebrity’s mother grabbed Farrah by the throat and smacked her in the face. The scene was brutal, as multiple cuts to the victim’s right side of the mouth were seen at the time. However, Farrah agreed to a plea bargain because Deborah Danielsen, at all costs, was her mother. Thus, the case was dropped.
