He is best known for portraying the iconic character of Victor Kiriakis on DOOL. The last episode featuring John as Victor aired on December 26, 2022. However, now, several months after the legend’s passing the soap has reached a point where Victor’s absence needs to be explained.
Not wanting to recast the role, Days of Our Lives has only one way to move forward. By writing Victor’s demise into the story. And it seems that is exactly the turn the storyline will now take. However, sources reveal that actor John Aniston’s daughter, Jennifer Aniston, is not happy with the decision. Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the makers are planning a rather dramatic exit for the iconic Victor Kiriakis. He will meet his end due to a plane-crash. And the funeral episode may air between August end to September beginning. Furthermore, the source revealed that the famous actress happens to be aerophobic. “Jennifer hates to fly so this has rubbed her the wrong way,” the source told the Daily Mail. “But what can she do about it,” they said in resignation. The soap needs to explain Victor’s death.
Allegedly, Jennifer shared a rocky relationship with her mother, all through her career. Similarly, she also was estranged to her father, John. However, reports claim that the father and daughter got on to good terms at the time of his death. John Aniston is sorely missed by his loved ones. And so will be Victor Kiriakis, by his Days of Our Lives family and fans. He will forever remain a legend in Salem, as well on Daytime.
