Josslyn Breaks Cameron’s Heart, Chooses Dex
Recently, on General Hospital, Josslyn had a conversation with Cameron that he just wasn’t prepared for. She finally opened up to him about her feelings for Dex and broke up with him. While this has given her a clean slate to write a new story with Dex from here on, it has left Cameron alone to pick up the pieces of his heart. This undercurrent had been building up below the surface for quite a while and it was only a matter of time that it exploded. Joss told Cam that they had been drifting apart and it was just not the same between anymore.
Despite the fact that there really was trouble in paradise for some time, Cam was still extremely heartbroken on General Hospital. It is important to note that post their broke up, a shaken Cam seemed withdrawn from Spencer too. When Cassadine Jr. tried to rope Cam in for an Esme-related discussion with Trina and Joss, Cam declined.
We wonder if this is the beginning of a U-turn Cam could make on General Hospital. Before his stabilized ways on the ABC soap, Cam had a dark past. Perhaps, this heartbreak could push him back to embrace his darker side that he had been dormant for some time. This may even bring into action a partnership that no one saw coming!
Cameron And Esme Couple Up On General Hospital
While Cameron is nursing a broken heart, Esme is dealing with broken memories on General Hospital. The latest spoilers suggest that circumstances are soon going to put Esme and Cameron in each other’s orbits. At the moment, Esme can’t remember squat. She has failed to identify Elizabeth as Nik’s accomplice in keeping her hostage. Moreover, she seems to be leaning on her for support. In the previous episode, Esme showed that she really trusted Liz as she had been nice to her. Thus, keeping Liz out of jail on charges of kidnapping, at least for now.
Perhaps, in the coming episode Cam might visit Esme along with his mom on General Hospital. Spoilers suggest that seeing Cameron might trigger Esme’s memory and she will find Cam’s face familiar. This might lead to Cam spending some time with Esme, just to jog her memory. There is also a chance that Liz might ask Cam to forge a friendship with Esme so that he can request her to be easy on Liz once her memory is back. Moreover, Cam’s dark side might also feel that a relationship with Esme would be a huge blow to Joss! And then of course, we have been watching soaps long enough to know fake dating almost always turns into a real relationship!
