On a recent podcast chat, actor Steve Burton spilled a crucial General Hospital Spoilers. By now, as soap fans, we truly have to be living under a rock to not know that Steve is returning to GH as Jason Morgan. Thus, it is only logical that fans are going berserk trying to figure out what his return storyline would be. Adding to the hype, the fan favorite actor teased that the ABC soap has already started “breadcrumbing” his return arc.
General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Gives A Major Hint
Currently, on GH, Brick is helping Sonny investigate the shootout at his private island on Puerto Rico. General Hospital spoilers reflect that Sonny is convinced of the attacks being an inside job. He insisted to Brick that whoever the shooter was, knew intimate details of his island and security. They knew exactly where his men were, and were not. A stranger could not have managed to pull it off undetected.
Now, owing to the large sum of money Brick found transferred into Dex’s account. Sonny and he both may be inclined to believe that Dex is the traitor, per General Hospital Spoilers. However, we know that not to be true. Sure, Dex did betray him with Michael. But not the attacks. That shooter is someone else. Perhaps the same person who pulled the trigger at The Metro Court. A bullet that accidentally hit Curtis and left him paralyzed.
Does Jason Want Sonny Dead?
Back in 2023, when the Metro Court shooting first happened, everyone’s initial suspicions automatically flew to Pikeman, if Sonny was the target. And at WSB, if Anna was the target. General Hospital spoilers recall that at the time there was no news of Steve Burton returning to GH. This was perhaps a later development. Thus, there is a fair chance that the makers have actually diverted from the original storyline to accommodate a juicy and thrilling Jason return.
But if that really is the case, then we can’t help but wonder – why would Jason want Sonny dead? General Hospital spoilers recollect that the two were thick as thieves. Jason has been more loyal to Sonny that he has been to all his lovers combined. So this 180 in his agenda and sentiments towards the PC kingpin is hell of a twist.
