Ever since it was revealed that Willow’s cancer had escalated to stage four on General Hospital, speculations started arising that she may die. However, no one actually thought she would die. There was no news of actress Katelyn MacMullen exiting the soap. Thus, everyone felt safe to assume that Willow would pull through the health crisis. But leave it to General Hospital to throw an unexpected twist! In the previous episode, just as Michael was admiring their little bundle of joy, Willow’s condition suddenly worsened, and she flatlined! Is she gone forever? Or will General Hospital find a way to bring Willow back to life?
Never Say Dead In Port Charles!
We have been General Hospital fans long enough to know that death is not permanent in the Soap Universe. Over the course of decades, we have seen many characters rise back from the dead. Not too long ago, we saw Anna shoot Lucy dead. But hey, what? It was actually Holly who pulled the trigger, and Lucy never died! Apparently, Holly was wearing an Anna mask, and the bullets she fired were made of rubber, and Victor has Lucy stashed away someplace. This is just one of many such mind-bending stories!
Long story short, we can’t be sure (yet) that Willow is really dead at General Hospital. After she flatlined in the hospital, Harmony emerged from the white light and comforted Willow, saying she wasn’t alone. Perhaps we will see Willow having another one of her visions. Harmony might give Willow some peace of advice and tell her that her time isn’t up yet. She’ll remind her of everything that Willow still needs to take care of and tell her to be strong and return to the land of the living. But can Willow return to life? What if it’s too late for the doctors to revive her?
Willow Still Has A Lot To Live For On General Hospital
We can’t deny the possibility that General Hospital can very well Kill Willow for good just out of the blue. The ABC soap has done it before; remember Brando? No one saw that coming! Similarly, GH could just be setting us up to believe, “oh, they won’t just kill her, at least not after everything she has gone through to stay alive and keep her baby alive.” And then BAM! Willow is dead, and we will have to bring out the tissues we just stashed away after Britt’s death.
However, there is one thing that sets Willow apart from Brando and Britt at General Hospital. There are too many loose ends and unresolved issues connected to Willow. For starters, Nina and Willow have just found out that they are mother and daughter. Willow still despises Nina, so there is still that matter to address! Besides, the fact that Harmony has appeared in her vision has to mean something big! They wouldn’t bring back Harmony to just say, “Oh, hi there! you’re dead!” Nope! We think there’s definitely more!
