MBFFL: Whitney Way Thorn Bids Her Last Goodbye To Mom Babs In Season 11!
Whitney Way Thore has slowly started enjoying the little achievements of her life. However, life became a little unfair for her when she lost her mother, Barbara. Previously, TLC also focused on Babs’ health. On December 7, 2022, Whitney shocked the world with the news of her mother passing away. Fans were afraid about the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star’s mental health. Now TLC is back again with a new MBFFL season about Whitney’s life. But it appears that it will be more emotional than ever. In the teaser, Whitney appears at the start while talking about her mother during her funeral. The TLC celeb was sobbing while saying that she didn’t know how they (her family) were going to live without her.
Further, Whitney added that her mother might want them to figure it all out by themself. Also, she was devastated to see her father Glenn’s condition after Babs passed away. Whitney and Hunter discussed that their father looked just lost. Meanwhile, the father-of-two accepted he didn’t know what to do after their mother was gone. Further, the sibling also got to know about their half-sister Angie and will try to reconnect with her. Finally, they take Glenn out to check off some gutsy things from his bucket list, such as getting tattoos, indoor skydiving, etc.
MBFFL: Whitney Way Lost Her Mother Due To An Untreatable Disease!
Barbara and Whitney were very close since the beginning. However, the MBFFL star was devastated when her father called her about her mother’s medical issue. On December 9, Whitney opened up about her mother after her death. She uploaded an old picture of Babs and stated that her mother took her last breath on Dec 7. Further, she expressed how the Babs passed away when the credits rolled out of her favorite movie. Whitney claimed that her mother had cerebral amyloid angiopathy, which is an untreatable Progressive disease. Whitney further went on to reveal that her mother had her first brain stroke in 2017, and they got to know there would be more.
Again, Babs suffered a stroke on December 28, 2021, and November 22. Further, Whitney accepted that her mother was the “greatest gift” to the family. Well, she did look very emotional in the trailer, but she isn’t allowing her grief to take away her happiness. Instead, she embarked on a new journey of finding love and weight loss.
