Kody Brown made headlines during the COVID-19 phase for the way he treated Janelle’s sons’ Gabe and Garrison. Fans of the Sister Wives series witnessed the drama between Kody and his sons about the isolation rules. It was also one of the biggest reasons for the conflict between Janelle and Kody.
However, it appears that the Brown family patriarch felt betrayed by his second and third wives during the pandemic. Recently, he sat down with Sukanya Krishnan to discuss his relationship dynamics with his four wives. Kody surprised everyone when he opened up about a weird situation with his exes.
He said, “Just before Christmas, we talked about Thanksgiving stuff, and I had just had COVID.” He went on to explain that Christine and Janelle had been on vacation while he was down with COVID-19. Further, he added, “ And it was pretty dark. It felt like such a betrayal.”
Sukanya interrupted him to ask if he felt betrayed because the two were together. Kody responded, “Yeah, when I was sick.” Later, Janelle explained her side of the story to the host. She mentioned that she was already on vacation with Christine when her husband called her to inform her about his health.
She stated, “I was getting ready to call Christine and say we got to go home.” Janelle then called the doctor instead because Kody was freaking her out with his illness. Also, the Sister Wives celeb noted that she was planning to return home, but her doctor refused to let her go because she couldn’t meet him anyway.

Recently, Christine revealed how she gave him the taste of his own medicine in a similar situation. The reality TV celeb explained that she was having a lovely time with her best friend, Janelle Brown. However, Kody wanted the latter to return and get him some stuff because he had COVID-19.
However, Christine didn’t let Janelle return to him. She told her dear friend and Sister Wives cast member, “All you’re going to do is go to the store and buy it for him, and then take it to his house and leave it on the doorstep.”
