Fans must remember the time when Kody wanted to kick Gabe and Garrison out of Janelle’s house. She intervened to say her husband’s name wasn’t on the lease.
Since then, Janelle decided to prioritise her kids more and fight for them. When she saw that Kody didn’t put in much efforts to mend his bonds with the kids, she wanted out. So, the star decided to divorce Kody and the rest is history. But could it be that after they lost their son, the former decided to reconcile with one another?!

As per the rumor mills, Kody and Janelle Brown paused their divorce after losing their son, Garrison. The Sister Wives stars separated in 2022. It happened after almost 29 years of marriage. But it seems like their shared grief brought them back together as parents. Alas, Garrison Brown passed away by suicide in March 2024. He was only 25.
The tragic loss deeply took a toll on both Kody and Janelle. They had shared a joint statement asking for privacy and honoring his memory.Since then, they have supported each other while mourning. Janelle has posted memories on social media and visited Garrison’s favorite places. Kody has expressed regret over missed chances to reconnect with his son.
But after seeing them being there for one another so much, fans have started to think it may be a hint that they have reconciled. But others believe that Janelle moving to North Carolina seems like a fresh start. So, if she wanted to put her divorce on hold, she wouldn’t have moved away.
