The couple celebrated their “non-anniversary” on the day of their 30th marriage anniversary. They discussed what was left of their relationship, and it was quite an upsetting argument to witness.

The recent conversation between Kody and Meri was quite hard to watch. The couple had a lot of criticisms and judgments about their own relationship. However, fans also saw Kody questioning their entire plural family situation. He even discussed if his Sister Wives would be better off without him while thinking of the other way round too. The TLC star has previously said that he’s not as supportive of polygamy anymore. This certainly is worrisome for his other brides, some of which reacted to it on social media.
Soon after the episode aired, both Robyn and Janelle simultaneously wrote some tweets. IBTimes points out that the fourth wife says it’s hard to watch her shared husband in the latest episode. She also asserts the need to do better in their plural marriage and work harder on their relationships with each other. On the other hand, Robyn said that she wouldn’t comment on Kody and Meri’s relationship “out of respect”. Well, there might be something going on between Robyn and the first wife as the former didn’t come to Meri’s mother’s funeral.
Janelle, on the other hand, has been healing things between her and her polygamist husband. We watched the two of them trying to fix things between them, and they even accepted having butterflies in their stomachs due to it. The second wife later commented on how she disagrees with Kody’s outlook of their family. Unlike what she believed before, Janelle is now quite hopeful for their plural marriage situation and thinks that it holds potential.

It was obvious that the Sister Wives patriarch would receive much hate after what happened in the previous episode. Kody was showered with criticism and was quick to reply to all of them. In a tweet, he mentions that his relationship isn’t a fight, and people shouldn’t take sides or give their opinions. He asserts that it’s his family’s problem, and they’ll work it out themselves. Moreover, she adds that what people think of him is none of his business.
Fans believe that Kody’s recent tweet came off as quite rude to them. People reckon that Kody and his family are on national television, and the show is served for people to watch. Hence, they have the right to have opinions about it. The whole purpose of the show is to entertain the audience, and it goes without saying that they will form opinions.
