Meri Brown was Kody’s first and only legal wife until Robyn entered their family. This was when she underwent a shift from being legally married to being just spiritually linked with her then-husband. The former couple’s relationship has since had a downfall. Sister Wives: Meri Opens Up About Her Side Of The Story!
Sister Wives star Meri Brown was the third and the last one to call it quits with Kody. She stayed in a loveless relationship for almost a decade with the hope that things would fall back into place. Unfortunately, things did not go as per her desire. Thus, she finally opens up about her relationship status with Kody in a recent clip shared by the network.
Meri kicked off the video by saying that she and Kody tied the knot with the intention of ‘forever.’ She was sad that he was unbothered as he said, “Well, I’m just not interested… you can stick around if you want.”
The reality TV star went on to express that she did not want to be with someone who had no feelings for her, stating their marriage was ‘over.’ Later in the clip, Meri admitted sharing a strong bond with Robyn’s children, Dayton, Aurora, Breanna, Solomon, and Ariella.
The Sister Wives cast member then feared that Kody and his only wife wouldn’t let her have a good relationship with their kids. Meri later spilled the tea that her former partner was not in favor of being open about their separation.
Meri Brown admitted that she would not hide her relationship status for the rest of her life. The fifty-two-year-old then expressed that it was her story, too, and she had “the right” to tell her story.

Meri did not hold back and shared her side of the story after Kody expressed his desire not to have any relationship with Meri. In a clip from yesterday’s episode of Sister Wives, she opened up about their thirty-second-anniversary outing.
She shared calling to congratulate Kody on their anniversary and asked if they could head out for a ride or dinner. After taking some time to think, he agreed to take her out for dinner.
This was when Meri told the cameras that he said that he had “no desire” to have a relationship with her. The mom of one was obviously taken aback. But soon realized that she had two options: either to continue living as an independent woman who is religiously married or terminate her relationship.
