A teaser for Part 3 of the Sister Wives One-on-One Season 17 special recently came out. In it, Robyn Brown confesses that she is “scared” at the prospect of her husband, Kody Brown, taking on more wives. She desired the experience of multiple marriages, but she is now unsure of its feasibility. Moreover, Robyn has made it clear that she disagrees with the decisions of her Sister Wives to leave Kody. She thinks they ought to have battled harder to be a family. In fact, Kody’s only remaining wife has stated that Christine “destroyed” her vision of plural marriage. However, in the video, she admits that she’s still unsure about Kody’s future plans for growing the family. But she does say, “he’s basically said no”.
Robyn acknowledges that she may ask Kody to “do this again”. But she also confesses that she is scared of it, considering how badly everything has gone. However, Christine also shared her thoughts on this idea. She spoke up about what comes next in their life. The Sister Wives star believes that the shares husband and his favorite wife will always regret the failure of their plan to have a large family. Christine stated that Kody and Robyn would feel grief and loss, as the polygamous family was their dream. Moreover, they never wanted to give up on their dream since it’s hard to do so.
However, addressing whether Robyn and Kody would continue to live in their monogamous lifestyle. Christine thinks that after all that happened, Kody and Robyn won’t look for any more sister wives. Sukanya Krishnan, the host, questioned how it could work after hearing all this because Robyn had only married Kody to have a large polygamous family. Christine clarified, however, that after experiencing so much failure in life, one wouldn’t even dare to try. Furthermore, if they are genuinely in love and happy with one another, there would be no place for anybody else.

Although Robyn was aware of polygamy, she didn’t seem to be a big fan of it. Her first marriage, which lasted for eight years, was monogamous. And if it hadn’t ended in divorce, it probably would have remained so. However, Robyn was never against polygamy. Robyn stated in the family’s 2012 narrative, Becoming Sister Wives, that she was aware she would be a member of multiple families and that, as a divorcee, she would not be a first wife once more. Although the remark appears true, several family supporters find it odd.
Robyn claims she chose polygamy because of personal testimony. But other family members think the Sister Wives star chose it due to how their conservative society sees divorce.
