Kendra stated her Menonites roots made her experience the Amish life.

However, Kendra admitted some parts of the show made her uncomfortable. Because of that, she decided to leave instead of staying just for show business. She also said the experiences gave her the opportunity to grow as a person. Kendra also said she feels thankful to have met the Amish community. Ever since her departure from Suddenly Amish, Kendra has been indulging in more Amish content. She bought a traditional butter churner and tried to make some butter. Recently, she also tried to make some sourdough bread. She posted about it. Her first attempt was not as successful as she wanted. But she tried again, and this time it came out perfect.

In a recent post, she celebrated her successful attempt at making the sourdough. She literally kicked her feet in the air at how gorgeous the bread was. She couldn’t believe that she made the bread well this time. The reality star also tried it with the butter she made and said it was delicious. In the post, James also commented, surprising fans. He wrote, “Getting closer to becoming an Amish wife.”

Kendra also reposted a screenshot of the comment and wrote, “someone come get this man.” James had earlier stated that Kendra had the potential to be a great Amish wife, but sadly, she left before he could see her become one. Now, does she intend to learn all the homemaking skills of a tradwife? She had added the hashtag with one. Probably why James jokingly commented.

Kendra seems to have taken a liking to a few things she learnt in the Amish. Recently, she also baked some muffins, which were supposedly a recipe from Sarah, who is also Amish.
