This time he is wrapped up in a steamy romance with Sally Spectra, while she is also tantalized by Nick’s equally delicious brother, Adam. Recently, after much contemplation, Sally had decided to choose a stable relationship with Nick as opposed to a torrid one with Adam, despite her feelings for the younger brother.

The New Year started on a high note, with Sally discovering she is pregnant on The Young and The Restless. After feeling symptomatic, Sally asked her bestie, Chloe, to get her a home pregnancy test. Sally was stunned when the stick shows a positive result for pregnancy. Wanting space to process the shocking turn of events, Sally asked Chloe to leave her alone for some time. However, not before confiding in her that she thought all was over between her and Adam, but apparently not.
While as of now, there is no indication of who the father of Sally’s baby is on The Young and The Restless. The above statement could be a subtle, understated hint that the probability of it being Adam is quite high. However, one thing is for sure it is a Newman baby that Sally is carrying. And today or tomorrow, she will have to open up about her pregnancy to all parties involved.
Although a simple paternity test will be enough to prove who the father is, it is the result that will have a lasting consequence on the lives of Nick, Adam, and Sally. The chances of the baby being Adam’s is much higher. And that’s where all the trouble will begin on The Young and The Restless. Adam already believes that he is the man for Sally and not his brother, Nick. When he finds out that he is the father of Sally’s baby, his resolve to get back with Sally becomes more solid. Sally, herself has never been able to deny her feelings for Adam.
The only reason she chose Nick was to bring some stability to her life. However, if Adam steps up and proves that he can be a responsible father, Sally might give him another chance. Meanwhile, Nick being the honorable man that he is will certainly step aside to let Sally have her true happiness.
This, however, will definitely leave Nick a little heartbroken and lonely on The Young and The Restless. Making it the perfect opportunity for him to seek counsel from a certain coffee-serving therapist, his former flame Sharon!
