Long time The Young And The Restless viewers know Hilary is the kind of character that keeps popping back up every now and then, even after dying on the soap. She comes in the ghostly form and helps Devon with all the hard decisions. So, this seems like just the right time when The Young And The Restless should bring her back. Devon is struggling through the Dominic custody situation. And if Hilary comes and helps him, it would be nice.
Hilary is not someone who usually sugar-coats things. So, she might just pay Devon a visit and tell him to let this whole thing go. Right now, Devon needs someone to give him tough love. The Young And The Restless fans would recall, Hilary was pregnant when she got into the car accident. Not only did she lose the baby, she, later on, also succumbed to her own injuries. That is something that took a toll on Devon big time.
So, Hilary might tell Devon that he is just using this Dominic situation to fill the void. With that said, Hilary might also ask him if this isn’t something he should do. Tv Season & Spoilers suggest that she might remind him that he just agreed to be the sperm donor. While it was a good thing that he stepped up when Chance wasn’t around, it doesn’t make him the baby’s father.
She would ask him, how would Devon have felt if his baby with Hilary had survived and someone would have claimed that they were the baby’s father? Hilary would say that this is the same thing that Devon is doing, and this isn’t right. She might give Devon a reality check.
Hilary might be the person who Devon would actually listen to. And she would be in a unique position to help Devon and help him see the light. Would Devon really give up the custody battle and let go of Dominic? We will have to wait to see.
