After 90 Day Fiance star Ashley’s recent kidney failure, her medical woes don’t seem to end. She announced recently that she is going to need another surgery. The star took to Instagram to convey the news that she is going to be down for at least a month. As of 8th February, she won’t be doing any promos, cameos, endorsements, or PR for a while. If she has signed any, she will continue after her recovery.
90 Day Fiance: Previous Criticism Refrains Ashley From Revealing More Information
The reality TV heartthrob went on to say that she won’t be revealing the details of her health this time. Her other posts on the same topic received quite an amount of criticism. He also faced a lot of backlash and scrutiny for oversharing on Instagram earlier. All she asks for is prayers from fans. Her sole focus is going to be her recovery. Her health and family are going to be at the top of the priority list.
On 19th January, she returned home after she was hospitalized on the grounds of kidney failure. On January 13th, she collapsed in her home and was taken to the hospital. That day later, she took to Instagram to share a picture in which she is laying on the hospital bed. They found her unresponsive in her bed, and the ambulance took her to the hospital. The medical team diagnosed acute kidney failure. At that time, her dialysis was about to start.
90 Day Fiance: Ashley’s Medical Crisis
2 days after her hospitalization, we saw another update on Instagram that revealed a surgery. The doctors had to place a catheter into her abdomen to begin the dialysis. Doctors say that the dialysis is temporary. This is a measure to aid her kidneys in repairing themselves.
She was also hospitalized near Christmas due to her autoimmune disease. Stress, infections, sunlight and other related factors can trigger flare-ups. In addition to all the health woes, the reality star has also been struggling in her personal life. The on and off relationship with Jay Smith is not exactly making this time easier for her.
90 Day Fiance: Ashley Filed For Divorce
As all 90 Day Fiance fans are already aware, Jay cheated on Ashley right after they tied the knot. She is done with all the paperwork and has officially filed for divorce on 11th January.
As far as Jay is concerned, he is moving on. He recently posted on Instagram that if you are not happy with the road you are currently walking on, begin to pave another way. The picture shows him with an unknown woman running her hands down his shirt. From #newstart it is clear that Jay is ready to leave behind Ashley and all the 90 Day Fiance drama and move on with his life.
Fans thought that this was another woman, but the face wasn’t clear in the picture. Some believe that this is Ashley due to a similarity of the nails.
