In a new episode, Shawn took Alliya to meet his mother, Jeanne. The latter was excited and admitted she had been waiting for that moment for the longest time. Shawn’s mother was also polite to her. However, she told Alliya that she would be accepting of her but would draw the line if she ever displeased her son. Well, it was an awkward moment as Alliya was full of love and kindness and didn’t deserve such a reaction.

At first, Shawn was on board with the idea. That’s because he thought Alliya would get minor things done like “something added to her butt” and so on. But now, he is unsure. He once mentioned in an episode that every step his partner was taking towards feminization surgery made him feel he was escalating further away from what their relationship originally used to be. Hence, it’s getting hard for Shawn.
Many viewers believe that Shawn not being supportive of Alliya getting surgery would lead to issues in their already messy relationship. Yet everyone is curious as ever to see how the couple would nevigate this big change in their relationship. Shawn didn’t know how to feel considering what would happen every “nuance” of the person Alliya used to be would be “erased.”
