She demanded spousal support from him in the divorce filing after he fought with her for full custody of their only daughter, Aleesi. She has hired top lawyers to challenge him in the case. Patrick from 90 Day Fiance ended his marriage with Thais with divorce papers two days before she learned he filed for divorce. On May 22, 2026, cops arrested her at her home. She was registered for misdemeanor domestic battery after her ex-husband alleged she slapped him on the left side of his face during their argument. But she denied attacking him, saying her slap was self-defense.

Patrick and Thais started fighting when he brought Aleesi to meet Thais at her home before she could leave for her trip to Brazil. The Clark County District Attorney didn’t pursue the criminal charges, so they dropped them after two days. A TMZ obtained footage of her being handcuffed that went viral. The clip featured Thais speaking to officers following Patrick dialing 911 to report her. Patrick had scratches on his face, leading to Thais’ ordeal.

Thais finally submitted her response to Patrick’s divorce petition, as he wanted to dissolve their marriage. She missed his 21-day deadline, so he moved for a default judgment, and within just three days, she answered. The 90 Day Fiance diva and US fitness trainer booked the famous divorce lawyer Carmen Marisol to fight on her behalf.

In Thais’ filing, she neither asked for legal nor physical custody of Aleesi. She simply asked the Nevada court to award them joint custody. She stated that the parents are fully capable of caring for their daughter. She then requested that the court set the child support in addition to the spousal support. 

Next, Thais sought medical insurance for her minor child from Patrick. She has decided to drop her last name after the divorce to return to her maiden name. Also, there are community assets in both of their names that need to be distributed equally. In a shocking twist of fate, Starcasm recently reported that the former couple has amassed over $240,000 in debt.

While Thais owes just $20,000 for using multiple credit cards, Patrick owes a whopping $221,889.02 to many banks and credit card companies. When Starcasm made the news public on Instagram, Thais commented with utter shock.
